So i woke up this morning and fancied making a smoothie: it seems green smoothies containing vegetables are all the rage right now so i thought i’d give it a go…
Serving Size: 1 glass
- 1 carrot
- 1 banana
- 2 kiwis
- A handful of spinach
- The juice of 1 small lemon
- 5 tbsp of water
Let the making commence…
Prepare all your fruit/vegetables:
- Peel the banana and chop into slices
- Remove the fluffy kiwi skin
- Peel the carrot and chop up
- Wash the spinach
- Chop the lemon in half
Add everything to the blender
squeeze the lemon halves and watch out for sneaky pips.
Measure out the water and add it to the blender.
Get whizzing until everything is blended.
Grab a glass and a straw, pour in the smoothie and enjoy!
